Your mission
  • As the wingman for the Certification Team, you provide comprehensive support throughout our product certification journey for various markets across the globe. 
  • You play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing authority relationships worldwide. 
  • Leveraging your technical expertise, you immerse yourself in product development, ensuring adept support and coordination with relevant authorities, including evaluating potential major/minor changes. 
  • Actively fostering collaboration among internal teams - design, safety, security, initial airworthiness, production, maintenance, operation, and training - you establish the necessary certification basis for aircraft systems and equipment, along with means of compliance. 
  • You are instrumental in preparing for and facilitating audits, inspections, and operational investigations essential for certification. 
  • Your hands-on certification experience facilitates the incremental achievement of Type Certification for unmanned aircraft systems. 
  • Serving as a proficient focal point, you lead the preparation of Certification Projects and define means of compliance. 
  • You meticulously validate compliance data and generate certification/qualification documents in alignment with internal Product Management, harmonizing them with regulatory authorities. 
  • Supporting the implementation of Compliance Monitoring across teams, you conduct compliance documentation reviews prior to formal submission. 
  • Providing practical starting points such as pre-structured templates and processes, you assist teams with hands-on support. 
  • Your oversight across teams contributes to the preparation and management of our Technical Publications. 
  • Leveraging your experience, you diligently monitor and validate the work within relevant organizations supporting our strategic interests, technical standards development (e.g., ASTM, EUROCAE), and industry stakeholders, ensuring consensus standards meet company objectives. 
Your profile
  • Master's degree in aviation, engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in relevant industries such as Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Aviation, Railway, or Medical Technology. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of certification projects, encompassing Certification Basis, Programme Establishment, Compliance Demonstration, Technical Closure, and Approval processes (e.g., FAA, JCAB, EASA, and others). 
  • Preferred experience with FAA/EASA Part 21(G and/or J). 
  • Proven track record as an effective communicator with a proactive attitude and a "can-do" mentality.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively, both in written and verbal formats, to leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of product management is advantageous.
  • Experience participating in standardization working groups is a plus. 
  • Fluency in English at a negotiation level. 
  • Proficiency in an additional language is beneficial.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Experience with agile tools such as JIRA.
