Senior Systems Safety / Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

Perform safety assessments on different system levels (including e.g. FTA, FHA, FMEA and FMECA).
Review supplier documents.
Manage safety related requirements and traceability from high levels to subsystems and components (including regulatory-, human factor- and environmental requirements).
Perform and review Reliability Assessments.
Coordinate activities with external suppliers.
Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members of an agile team in meeting program objectives.
Work in a multidisciplinary team - with certification, software, hardware and flight testing teams.
Assume responsibility for the documentation, validation and verification of the safety process for the authorization by the aviation authority.

Your profile

Engineering degree (ideally software engineering, electrical engineering or aviation engineering).
3+ years of professional experience in systems engineering.
Experience with systems engineering according to ARP4754A and ARP4761.
Experience in requirements management and RM-Tools.
Experience with safety analysis tools.
Knowledge of system development processes according certification aspects are a strong advantage.
Experience with agile development of aviation systems.
Knowledge of development and certification standards, RTCA DO 160, DO 254, DO 178, is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Independent and solution-oriented thinking and acting on own responsibility.
