DevOps Engineer

Your mission
  • Being responsible for the release and continuous integration pipeline.
  • Being the technical interface between different software stakeholders.
  • You are supporting in planning, designing, and monitoring machines in virtual environments.
  • Managing automation tasks such as Backups, Restores, OS Patching.
  • You are conducting daily checks to ensure the integrity and continuity of the CI/CD environment.
  • You are designing infrastructure as a code (IaC) environment in combination with a CI/CD workflow.
  • Your give support as a 2nd level for the infrastructure you’re responsible for.
Your profile
  • A degree in computer science, engineering or other relevant subject.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in containerized workflows, continuous integration, continuous delivery and pipeline automation.
  • Hands-on experience in Docker or any equivalent technology is required.
  • Experience in automation of software builds including dynamic and static verification.
  • Experience in Kubernetes, especially application deployments.
  • Experience in using Terraform
  • Experience in Azure, private cloud.
  • Practical experience in monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and/or Elastic Stack.
  • Hands-on experience in Ansible for bootstrapping on-premises appliances.
  • Hands-on experience in GitHub Actions is considered as a plus.
  • Profound knowledge of Bash and Python.
  • Basic knowledge of C++, especially build systems such as qmake and CMake and frameworks such as Qt.
  • Basic knowledge of Java, including Maven and Spring ecosystem.
  • Fluent in English. Working knowledge of German is a plus.
