Your mission

Defect Management

Manage and improve defect tracking processes (e.g., Jira).
Ensure accurate, consistent defect documentation and lifecycle tracking.
Prioritize defects by severity, impact, and release timelines.
Lead defect triage meetings and coordinate fix decisions.
Maintain dashboards and KPI reporting (cycle time, defect leakage, trends).
Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.

Risk Management

Identify and assess quality risks from defect trends and process deviations.
Maintain a risk register and support Go/No-Go release decisions.
Communicate risks, escalate critical issues, and coordinate mitigation.
Lead root-cause analysis and define prevention measures.
Ensure risk-based prioritization and compliance with quality standards.

Your profile

Experience in defect management, quality management, or similar roles in a development or product organization.
Proficiency with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
Strong understanding of software or hardware development processes (depending on the environment).
Knowledge of risk management methodologies (e.g., Risk Register, FMEA, impact & likelihood assessments).
Strong analytical and communication skills, able to translate complex issues into clear insights.
Excellent coordination skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style.
